We have rented them while on vacation. It was fun to drive, but DH thought it didn't have much "pep."
eta: personally I thought it was fast enough, but DH thought it was sluggish.

Ok - I found a 2000 Sebring JXI with 73k miles in excellent condition for a great price....So I figured I would ask to see if anyone had one.

I test drove a Sebring years ago and was not at all impressed. Very cheap looking interior and it did not handle well, IMO

Yes actually that was my dad's GF's biggest complaint that the interior looked/felt cheap.

We just rented it this past weekend as well. It really wasn't that nice, when we were going up a bridge DH had the pedal to the metal and it was just keeping up with the other cars.

Nope, although those are hot also. Its a 1991 Nissan Figaro. My DREAM car, but no where to put the baby

IMO its a rental car...you get one when you go to florida or san diego (some place like that).

We rented one, and I agree with the above posters who said it didnt have a lot of pep. I felt like I had to press the gas pedal all the way down just to keep up with the other cars on the road.

I have a 2000 JXI Convertible and I have nothing but good things to say about it. It's fast enough for me, and while some feel it's a little sluggish getting on the highway, I find that it keeps up just fine. They retooled the engine for the 2001 and later models to add more horses.
