Does anyone pay their water bill online?
I tried to and the Speedpay for Western Union came up. That made me very uneasy (like someone was trying to steal my identity) - is that how they do it?

Depends on your water company. I pay online, but I do it through my bank. If they don't have a biller in their automatic transfer system (which they do for my water company), then they just send a check.
Does your bank offer online bill pay options?

yes they do, that's my next option.
I'm just curious if anyone knows if Suffolk County does it through Western Union. It struck me as so odd!

yep I do every 3 months and yes it comes up as Western Union speedpay. I dont really know what it is but the money is taken out of our checking acct.We have been doing it for 6 years and no problems!!
