Does anyone read Jane Smiley?
I loved A Thousand Acres, which was the first book of hers that I read, but have not been able to get into any her books since then. I just took her latest out of the library, figured I'd give her one more shot, and I'm 8 pages in and hating it already.

I liked a Thousand Acres too. I tried 2 more of her books and didn't like them that much so I lost interest in her.
