Re: Does anyone use a tub ring?

Its a seat they sit in in the tub instead of the infant tub.

Oh, then yes, I have one! Didn't know that's what it was called...

Used it with DD#1...LOVED IT...the only thing that was a pain was cleaning the privates, so I would clean them first, before seating her...

I intend on using it with DD#2 AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, I hate the tub...she slips everywhere!!!!!!!!

LOL......don't you use that sponge thing to keep her in place in the tub? DS never slips.

Re: Does anyone use a tub ring?

I do and I love it! I have been using it with DS since he was 5 months. He kind of slouched in it but he does pretty good now. Now I can bath both of them at the same time and not get too frazzled!

I got one at BBB & I love it. I hated bath time until we started using the seat.

Re: Does anyone use a tub ring?

I have to just say that consumer reports listed bath rings as one of the top ten most dangerous baby items. According to the report its easy for babies to slip and get trapped.

For you moms that love them- just keep a REALLY close eye. Chat Icon

I used the sameSafety 1st Tubside Bath Seat

for both my girls. I never had any problems with it and I am actually surprised that it doesn't have more stars in its rating!

Re: Does anyone use a tub ring?

I just got one and it's okay.

DS is 8 months old and way too big for his infant bathtub.

This was a good medium for keeping him still before putting him in the big tub alone.

I've had it for a week now and he seems pretty secure in it.

As a PP said it is very difficult to get their privates. It's also kinda awkward because you don't have as much freedom to move them around but for me, I tried bathing him in the big tub for 2 days and I almost had a heart attack because he was so squirmy and slippery.
