Does anyone watch Property Ladder on TLC?
I love it, but no one can ever be done on time or on budget. These people are doing soooooo much and only planning on $80,000 and 12 weeks. Craziness!

I have watched this show a bunch of times--- it's so interesting but it is kinda like watching a train wreck-- the whole point of the show is to watch people get in over their heads!

I love that show- I watched it earlier
I love all those shows- flip this house, flip that house
it's my dream- in a few year when DH opens his own mortgage company- I want to run the real estate department
my Dad owned a real estate company and I used to go with him to look at houses on the weekends- so it's in my blood

there was an episode a couple weeks ago where the lady let the house "speak" to her to determine what renovations to do. She was crazy! Needless to say she was way over budget.
It totally is a trainwreck and I can't stop watching!

I love all those shows too, but property ladder is my favorite of all because you see how much they make/lose. I can understand why flipping is so seducing, but I think these people forget it is so hard and stressful and not guaranteed.

I loved Ginger and Trade Mark Props. The wife of the new flipper guy annoys the he11 out of me. It makes me not want to watch it.

Property Ladder is great - yes these people are stupid.
why did that one family wait two months for that guy to do the stucco? hello!!!! fire him earlier idiots!!
and apparently Trademark Properties is suing A&E - it was Richard Davis' idea and he pitched it to A&E, and when the show became a success, they wanted more $$ for season two and A&E didnt want to pay - so they are now shooting a show for TLC.
the A&E message boards are hysterical - EVERYONE hates the new families. people from the area post that they lie and say the houses are sold when they really arent.

WOW  I didn't know that was all going on between A&E and TMP. Do you know what show they are shooting with TLC and when it will air?

i was so excited when the new season was starting....got all ready in front of the TV...and all of the sudden I was like HEY THATS NOT RICHARD. I was pizzed!

That's so funny!!! DH and I hate the new couples too and wish they would have kept going with Trade Mark!!! We won't even watch the new episodes!

This is soooo funny to read. I thought I was the only one so attached to Ginger, Dawn, and Richard. And I really lliked how Richard gave back to the community, flipping the restaurant, and helping out a lot.
The show is not the same.
