Does anyone work in a hospital but is not a dr/nurse
tech, etc....but something administrative? How do you like it?

I do! I do account management. The work is ok (not all that exciting, but not horrible either). I'm kind of indifferent to the work itself, but i do really like working for a hospital. I feel like there are so many opportunities to grow/move around/change courses- its just up to you to take advantage of them. I also like the sense of security- people will always be sick, so the work will always need to be done.
I'm leaving the finance area of it soon, but i think it afforded me some really good opportunities and always tell people to check out the job listings.

yup! just under 2 months left!!!
And- the hospital paid for it all. Most hospitals are pretty big on education incentives. Not sure if you're looking for anymore schooling, but its an option thats out there (and not just nursing- anything that falls under the healthcare umbrella- MBA, Tech degrees, etc). Sometimes they even have the classes taught right at the hospital. Please don't hesitate to ask me if you have any questions!!!

oh- i should have said- the MBA isnt free, but they have some program with certain schools for discounts and tuition reimbursement (just wanted to clarify)
