Does anyone's child refuse to sit?

Michael flat out refuses to sit. He only wants to stand (which he can't do on his own or hold himself up standing). He can sit on his own- a bit wobbly- but HATES it. He starts to scream. He won't sit on anyones laps either, he just wants to stand on them. I try and make him practice sitting, but he just screams and cries until I stand him up. (same with his bouncy seat and car seat!)
Did anyone else go through this?

Ellie prefers to stand but she doesn't refuse to sit. It just requires a little coaxing.

DS doesn't like to sit either. And if he sits too long on someone's lap he starts fussing. He actually arches his back when I try to sit him down, hilarious! I just keep trying and every once in a while he's ok with it.

DS does this... And when you try to sit him down, he locks his legs! He has made the car seat tumble backwards a couple of times... luckily I have been there.

My mom swears he is going to walk by 7 months...

my son did this too he would get angry and throw himself back on the floor. he prefered being on his belly or standing on my lap.

Now at 14 months he loves sitting so don't worry
