Does Applesauce...
Cause gas? I gave jacob like 2 baby spoonfuls of it yesterday at like 4:30 and he was up (and i kid you not, i keep a journal) every 45 min from 9:45 last night till 6am this morn, crying, and scrunching his legs and farting. I had to call in sick to work just so i could sleep today. (and i only work 2 days a week) Someone told me that yes applesauce causes gas. Anyone??? I am so frustrated....

yes I thought so with my son. I stopped giving it to him and just started now again at 8 months.
Don't force it ...try pears!

Yes- Everytime I gave Ryan apples he would get so much gas....
So I just avoided it until the following month- and then his belly was fine with it!

yes, I had started with applesauce and noticed that she was more gassy, so I switched to pears. A few weeks later I tried the applesauce again and she was fine. A week makes a big difference with their little bodies, so I would hold off on it now and try again in a few weeks.

I believe gas and/or constipation. We really limit apples for Miranda because of her constipation problems.

NO- hold on the pears... PEARS cause GAS! DS tried them today and has been bellyaching in gas pains all evening.... Go with Bananas! but be carefully, can be binding....

yes, apples are a diuretic and can cause gas/diahrea.

I think so. I gave to sidney and she had major problems. I waited a month and same thing. I guess I'll wait another month.
