Does Brown sugar go bad
I have a sealed box in pantry. Might even be a year old. I cannot find a date on it ANWHERE

I don't think so, but how does it feel? Mushy like it's supposed to when it's fresh? If it's hard as a rock I might ditch it because it means there's a hole somewhere - if the bag is sealed, it should stay mushy.
I could be completely wrong about all that, but I keep my stuff for a while too and I've never had a problem.

I do what Becca does, mushy/soft consistency I'd use it; hard, I'd toss it.

Yup! It is soft and mushy like the new box I bought. I also had a half opened box int here too that was hard as a rock so I threw that away, but this other one is all sealed and not hard at all!
Ok I say safe to use!

It doesn't go bad, just gets rock hard if you don't use it.
It's too much trouble to soften it, so I toss and buy fresh.
Give the bag a squeeze,if it is soft then go ahead and use it.

Even if it's hard there is directions on the box to soften it. You should still be able to use it.
