Does DC have to be fully vaccinated to enter preschool or just K?

Does this include the chickenpox and MMR? Does anyone have an easy link to where I can read what shots they need to have by what time? TIA so much

i'm not sure. it may depend on the preschool... if this is important to you i would definitely inquire with each individual school.

I believe these things are district specific. Also, if the school is private, it will have different rules as well.

It would depend on the pre-school. Private schools can abide by different rules.

It also varies by state. In NY, there is a medical & reigious exemption only for vaccinations that applies to ALL public schools. Therefore if your child was going to a catholic pre-school, they would not be likely to accept a religious exemption (ie. Christian Scientists, etc.).

My DD did. She was on a delayed schedule but we were able to get her everything she needed for preschool.
