Does Dr. B have a pre-set group IVF schedule?
In just searching through old IVF posts here, I see that some practices do this. It's unclear if DR. B's practice does it this way?
Does anyone know? Meaning, they control your cycle so the timing is the same for everyone doing IVF in a given month?
ETA: I emailed him about a few other questions, he said to call him, which I did, and I'm sitting here nervously awaiting a call-back so if anyone can provide relief in the meantime, I'd appreciate it!!

No, he does not. I have been to clinics where they do schedule you to be part of a group, but Dr. B. uses individual protocols and schedules.
Good luck.

no, nothing about dr. B is cookie cutter. every single patient, protocol, cycle and monitoring, is completely unique.

I think most places do this. They either batch all of their patients...which is why many are given BCP's so that they will all be on the same schedule....or they do a combo of both batching and non-batching. My clinic does both. Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think Dr. B does his own retrievals or transfers. I assume that the place the he uses for retrievals and transfers must be open 365 days a year, 7 days a week since he does not place people in set cycles.
Bottom line..batching is done to make it more convenient for the clinics. It can be very inconvienient to you as the patient when a clinic only batches people in set cycles. Definitely something to watch out for.
