...regarding the weight of these people? I heard several people say that Kate Winslett and Jennifer Love Hewitt looked "heavy" and I'm thinking, where? I mean, technically, if you're going to say Kate is "fat" you have to say Salma Hayek is, too. It's a similar body type. What's with the playing favorites? I know we take our digs at a lot of these people, but I think rarely do we call a normal girl fat. If anything, I notice a lot of people saying how thin these people are.
Oh! I am talking about on E! tv!

I think when they were talking about JLH, they ment her whole outfit and hair looked really heavy, which it did. It was too much dress and too much hair!
I didn't hear any references to Kate winslet being heavy. I think in fashion polic eon E they actually said how great and confident and womanly she always looks.

I definitely agree that we as a society are MUCH more critical of celebs than we would be regarding normal everyday folks.
and btw, I wish I was as "fat" as JLH or Kate Winslet. please!!!!!

Re: Does it bother you to hear some of post fashion commentary?
It does bother me that celebrities are scrutinized so much for their weight. I mean, most of the celebrities that are considered "heavy" are skinny compared to a large majority of the population (non celebrities). I hate that when someone is more curvy, bigger than the norm, it's all they ever say about them. It's no wonder why so many females struggle w/ body image and eating issues throughought their lives. It's sad really. I LOVED America Ferrara's(?) acceptance speech the other night. How people have much more to offer than how they look on the outside. That being said, I definitely do LOVE to watch the red carpet events
