Does it ever feel like the baby is shaking?
In the last couple of days-- I sometimes feel like the baby is shaking. At least that's the sensation I get.
I am still just feeling lots of different kinds of movements, and not really able to distinguish what is what.

Could it be hiccups?

I don't think so-- it's more of a vibrating sensation.
I would imagine hiccups would feel more like we would expect it to feel.

Yes I've had that this pregnancy. It's the strangest feeling. I was telling my midwife that it feels like the baby is having a seizure or something in there.

that is exactly what I was afraid of!!
Well, I guess it's normal then... maybe the fluids just vibrating around the baby's movements.
Backflips, cyclones-- what are they getting up to in there??? How the hell are we going to entertain them when they need to come out?

LOL, this is what I am thinking too. I often wonder what is she doing in there, she's really having a grand 'ol time by herself
As long as there's movement, I am happy

I have hd the vibrations too wasn't sure what they were. Hiccups feel exactly like you'd think they would very rythmic

I thought the same exact thing. I said it to my mom once and I think I got her nervous. I notice it happens more when I eat a lot of sugar (which is too often )
I also have been getting the rythmic "pangs" more often than not. I was writing a lesson plan last night for my observation and that's all I kept feeling. Part of me was happy for movement and the other part was like "knock it off...I can't concentrate"

Re: Does it ever feel like the baby is shaking?
Yes, that has happened to me too. gets the hiccups all the time, but the shaking is definitely not hiccups, it's such a different feeling. It doesnt happen as much now as she's getting bigger.
