Does Janie and Jack run big, small or true to size? (Dress for 2 month old)

I think they run a bit small with Kaitlyn she had an easter dress that was 6-12 months and by mother's day it was tight but she couldn't wear 12 month clothes b.c they were HUGE on her.
Madelyn on the other hand we had 2 summer dresses that were 0-3 that my mom got her and she wore them all summer long until she was into 3-6 at the end of Sept.
If she is close to the limits I would go up a size.

very small imo! I once bought a 4t for Madison in a swimsuit and she was well under 2 years old! I find the same is true with dresses, etc.
