From my own experience...
I see an RE, and on the "collection" instructions it says NOT to "help your partner with sample collection because saliva is harmful to sperm".

I guess that no fun is allowed when TTC
DH says the same thing, now that we are on a "schedule". I told him to s u c k it up. We have to get probed and prodded, but for some guys all they have to do is give a sample.

I don't think you helping him is so bad because it's not like your saliva is going inside him or something. I think it is more of a concern if he was helping you out. I know they say not to use saliva as a lubricant.

Hope its okay to crash here!
Just wanted to say that we kept trying to avoid it for the first couple of months we we were trying and it just messed up our natural. . . groove LOL
so the last month we were trying we just went with the flow, saliva and all! and that is when I got my BFP
So don't go TOO crazy with avoiding it!
