Does the MAC store take Macy's gift cards?

I got a Macy's GC and was wondering if I could use it there. If not I guess I could always use it at the counter in the store. I need some new makeup and would love for someone to actually show me what would be the best products/colors for me.

Yes, I go to the Mac store which is a part of Macys in Huntington(Walt whitman mall).

I have used Macys GCs there before. I actually asked for Macys GC for christmas because I need some things from MAC.

Yes only if the MAC is in the Macy's store. If it's a free standing store like in Roosevelt or Smithhaven mall, they won't take it.

Yup. Also, for most products you can get them from the store OR the counter so it doesn't matter too much where you shop... HOWEVER if you want to get a palette with eyeshadows, they only do that at the store- not the Macy's Mac. This is where you can pick out a palette (that can hold either 4 or 15 shadows) and select the colors you want. They also have palettes that can hold blush (basically the same idea, only with blush instead of eye shadow and I believe it holds up to 6)

As far as I know, you can buy any other product at either location!

One more thing actually- there MIGHT be a Mac Friends and Family sale coming up in January (since there was one last January) and that's only good in the stores or online (NOT Macys Mac) and it's 25% off. I can keep you posted if/when I hear more about it!
