Does THE PLACE negotiate price??
Just wondering, we saw a couple of things we liked there, and just wondering if we should bother trying to talk them down???

i found them hard to negotiate with - I went to penn furniture after them and got the same bedroom set for much cheaper.

That's funny, because Penn seemed even higher in price. Man...I am having such a hard time making furniture decisions, UGH! LOL

I just got something in the mail that Penn is going out of business and having a private slale this week. So maybe go back and try again???

oh really?? I love that place. I found them so easy to negotiate with - I guess it depends on what salesmen attacks first! my bedroom set was about $200 less than it was at the place, and penn was giving the armoire, the place set had the chest instead. and we talked them down a few hundred more, and cut the shipping in half.

I was just there last night. We found a entertainment unit that we liked, I think we will go back and buy. But for going out of business, and getting floor models, I still don't think the price is that hot. Similar entertainment unit at the place is like 1399. Thats the sale price ay Penn, and we talked them down to 1100, but i fell like we could do better with a different salesperson. Ralph just wasn't doing it for me! LOL
