Does this annoy anyone else with kids in pre-school and June payments?

So I am not sure if all pre-schools are like this or just the school my kids go to.
In January I pay for the following school years June, so today I registered DD for the 2011-2012 school year and paid the the June tuition. So I did the same last year.
Anyway, my gripe, I just checked out the school calendar and their last day of school is June 8th, which means that since my kids go 3 days a week they only have school on the 1st a Wed., 3rd a Friday, 6th a Monday and then Wed. the 8th is their graduation.
It just bugs me that I have to pay for a full month and that week of school is the teachers last week also.

That is crazy that it's not pro-rated when it's such a drastic difference in school days/month.

Its crazy and I skipped over the schools that asked for that. Especially since anything could happen between now and June and my kid could totally hate the school.

That is a little crazy. We had issues like that with dance and stuff. The company line is.....well it's prorated througout the year. so if they only charged you for the part of june you were going to have classes then the other months with full months would be a higher price. kinda makes sense. i don't like it. But it's the price you pay.

I feel the same. DD only had prek up til Dec 13th yet we pay a full month tuition. Same with dance class for the month. Then, I believe they are out sometime around when you said for June and yet we pay a full month then too. Cant wait for kindegarten next year.

Well, technically isnt it X amount of dollars for the year long program just broken down into 10 payments?

I hate that DS's school does this too!!!!!!! We start paying in August and that payment is for June. They are always closed and they get out early in June.

Another reason DD is not going there.
