I was thinking of signing my DH and I up for this class, since we LOVE fresh Mozz.

Homemade Mozzarella Plus

One of our most popular classes! Discover the secret to making mozzarella cheese - right in your own home. This class will focus on the technique; then we’ll layer it with portobello mushrooms and fresh roasted peppers, toss it in pasta, grill it, and roll it so we can really enjoy the fresh homemade flavor. New! We’ll also make ricotta cheese in this class.

Price: $99.00 per person

Does this seem worth the cost? It is a 3 hour class.

actually that sounds like a really good price to me, I'd do it, if we weren't lactose intolerant

eta: I'm curious to know where you're taking the class, if you don't mind sharing.

I've made both mozzerella and ricotta before. It's quick but a little tricky, esp. the mozz. I would definitely take a class where I could watch someone do it right, then make all sorts of yummy dishes out of it!

I'm not sure about the price of the class but I bought this cheese making kit and made mozzarella without a problem. It has a recipe booklet that comes with it with instructions and I followed that. She also has a DVD to show you how to make cheese too.
