Does this happen to anyone else while trying to sleep??
Is this happening to anyone else?? I havent been sleeping at all. Between getting up to pee like 4 times a night and just being uncomfortable...every time I switch sides, I wake up. I cant turn over without waking up. Its driving me insane. I so miss sleeping on my stomach so thats hard enough but now its like I am moving a building just to turn over. Sometimes its even very painful. Anyone else experiencing this???

Re: Does this happen to anyone else while trying to sleep??
me! i'm getting up 6-7 times a night to pee and it sometimes is painful when moving in bed. I expected this at 9 months. I'm just big and uncomfortable and figured it would be no different when I try to sleep. I told DH I would give anything for just one solid nights rest. I feel like its been sooo long!

Re: Does this happen to anyone else while trying to sleep??
I think I may be a little more further along than you guys. I am 8 months now. I had this earlier on too but it went away in my second trimester. So it may be a different reason for a different feeling. I am not sure. My pain isnt really in my stomach, more my pelvic area.

The best thing that helped me sleep was putting pillows between my legs when I laid on my side. I used to get bad pains in my hips.

Re: Does this happen to anyone else while trying to sleep??
I hate sleeping. It's almost like torture for me.
Besides waking up every hour or so to pee, everytime I also turn over I wake up.
It's either I can't get comfortable or my back is killing me or some other excuse.
I barely sleep anymore. And someone said its suppose to get better when the baby comes!! I hope so!

Absolutely and it just gets more and more difficult to sleep the closer you get. A lot of people say "It's mother nature's way of preparing you for getting less sleep when the baby is born"

Being that are due dates are one day apart I know exactly how you feel It's been a whole big production lately just to roll from one side to the another. It's the weight of your uterus (baby, placenta, fluid) that's probably causing your pelvic pain and lately doesn't matter how much cushion i have. I guess delivery is the only thing that will relieve this. Hang in there only 6wks left!

Re: Does this happen to anyone else while trying to sleep??
I dread bedtime too...I have insomnia and am up until 3 or 4 am, or I do finally get to sleep because DH rubs my back to relax me, but then, I am up every hour or so with agita and pelvic pain...the pelvic pain is so bad sometimes that when I do get up to pee (which I also dread) it feels like electric shocks in my pelvic area. I use the snoogle, which I use to love, but I think it is getting flatter and more useless than anything. Last nite, I put a pillow under my belly and the snoogle behind me...it was a little more comfortable, but still not perfect.

Re: Does this happen to anyone else while trying to sleep??
Oh yes! I don't think I have slept a full night since my BFP. I also can't turn over without waking up and yes, sometimes it feels like I've pulled every muscle in my side when I turn. Sleeping with my snoogle really helps keep me on one side. Just a regular pillow might help.

I could've written this post! I've been up 5 times a night lately! My lower back is killing me at night, but find during the day. This morning the OB told me to take Tylenol PM from now on. He even said he'd prescribe Ambien if I wanted it (no thanks). I only have a week to go. Unfortuantely, I won't be getting any sleep then either!

OMG that happens to me too! My hands are always sore and hurt when I wake up. I was going to mention it to my doc. Why did they say that happens? I just figured it was cirrulation problems from laying down.

I just figured it was cirrulation problems from laying down. isnt it the worse. and they can continue to be numb all day without the pain and with the pain for a good 1/2 hr before it wears off. Its the swelling on our carpel tunnel nerve apparantly, we are gathering fluid there and completey normal. If it gets real bad where the pain doesnt go away we have to go to an orthopedic.
oh edited to say I wear my wrist shield from when I rollerbladed. I could only find one and since my right hand is the worst I wear it every night. It does help a lot.
