Does this kids table "go"
me again.....
saw this table and chairs set online
this is the bedding and furniture....do you think the plastic will take away from the "classicness" of the bedroom?

IMHO, take your initial photos without the chair, then put the table in once you realize that it's a "kid's room", and usability and practicality will overtake the "showroom" look. 
I spent a lot of time making the "perfect" room for DS... that lasted until he was old enough to start crawling. Then it became *his* room, and we had to adapt it to make it usable for him, including plastic table and chairs, art table, toys, etc....
