Does this mean she is starting to out-grow her swaddle? When did your DC?

DD is 8 weeks old and she is starting to constantly work her arms out. She does not seem to mind cause she either sucks on her fingers or goes back to sleep. So does this mean she is starting to not need the swaddle?

When did your DC stop needing to be swaddled?

DD never liked being swaddled from the day she was born.

DD doesn't sleep well unless she is swaddled and she is 4 months. The ped said eventually she will be able to break free and there won't be any reason to swaddle her anymore. there have been a couple of nights she's broken free, but it's not on a regular basis.

That is when DD started also. That was also the same time she started sleeping through the night. She wanted those arms out!

My DD loved being swaddled & then she started breaking out around 3 months...I then used the miracle blanket & wouldn't tuck her feet in the pouch & she stayed swaddled until about 4 months then.

Yes I use the miracle blanke for at night or when she is really fussy during the day. Its the only one that she can't break her arms out of.

DD is 5 1/2 months & I still swaddle her. If I don't she startles herself awake.

DS started pulling out of the miracle blanket at around the same age. We stopped swaddling him around 10 weeks and it took him about 2 nights to adjust and then he was fine.
