Does you child have any odd behaviors or preferences?
DD who is 5 1/2 is overall a picky kid. She is picky with food, clothes, socks, shoes how her hair is done ect.... these I can deal with. However recently she has refused to wear underwear because she thinks they are not comfortable. I have purchased all styles, sizes, ect with no change. After weeks of fighting about this I now let her wear no underwear but obviously she needs to be wearing pants or capris or something with coverage.
Im sure it is a phase and will pass, but I hoping I am not the only one with a kid who has oddity's! LOL

my one daughter has to hold something all the time in her hand. preferably food, but will take a pencil and pad with her... she just did this on a walk yesterdya.
she doesn't wig out if she doesn't have something, just always find her with something in her hand.

Noah is VERY particular about .. well everything. His pants must only be at a specific length.. a half inch in either direction and he just won't wear them. Same with shorts and shirt sleeves. Socks must be ankle socks - he will not wear tube socks ever. He will not abide turtlenecks or v-necks.. crew or collared only. He doesn't like sweaters, but will tolerate them only if they are extremely light weight. He's a massive pain to dress.. and he's horrible when we go shopping because he dismisses half of everything we look at before even hitting the dressing room. Oh - and with underwear he only likes boxer briefs. He will not wear boxers or briefs at all anymore.
Thank God I have Robbie who really could care less about most things!!

My oldest use to sleep with lemons, does that count? Any old timers remember this?
He would take oranges if we had no lemons. Seriously.
Otherwise, none right now for any of them. Except my little guy likes to hump his blanket but I have him doing it in private so that's cool I guess

This sounds like my 9 yr old nephew. Ever since he was small he wouldn't wear button shirts, jeans, the color yellow, winter coats, pjs. My SIL is a shopaholic and it's her only child so it's been torture for her but great for me bc we have received many brand new or near new clothing items over the years.

At least I am not alone on this! Clothing is def her biggest issue and she only recently would even try on a pair of jeans. The other thing is she will not eat in our kitchen, she thinks it has food smells and is dirty, which it is not, but it is an old uglier kitchen, so she eats only in the dining room or living room.....
I just hope she gets more flexible as she gets older!

I call DD my little hoarder. She makes little collections of things and carries them around with her. Even when we wait for DS at the bus stop, DD collects sticks or leaves or rocks and puts them into piles.

Yes, definitely. He's was a little obsessed with produce in general but a bag of onions would have been too messy. He had a race car bed at the time and the front of the car blocked the bottom of his radiator. One day we moved it and found an old orange way in the back behind a radiator leg. It was not rotted, I guess because of the heat, it dried out. It was pertrified, light as a feather. He loves that story, he doesn't remember his lemon lover period at all. I only wish I had some pictures I don't know what was wrong with me that I never took any.
