Does your DC prefer one breast over the other? The preferred breast seems to be larger than the less preferred one. Is this normal???

DS strongly prefers one side better than the other. The "bad" boob gets pumped but the milk supply is like 2:1 since DS sucks so much more on the preferred side. I just noticed today that one boob definitely looks larger than the other one. Is this normal?

lol, yes. In the beginning DD preferred the left boob over the right, I guess it has slightly more supply than the other, since it is a bit bigger.
I posted about this before, it seems that many babies prefer one boob over another, it's totally normal.
Let your DS start with the smaller one during feedings, he should adjust to it.

For the entire year he preferred the left over the right. It gave double the amount of milk when I pumped.

Mine definitely prefers the left over the right.

Also the more the baby prefers the more that side is being stimulated so the more milk is produced. You can try starting him out on the other side-or pump the smaller side while nursing from the other one

The same thing happened to me--DS is 15 months and still to this day prefers one side over the other. I try to BF him first on the non-preferred side, but the girls are still slightly lopsided (but honestly I think I am the only one who would ever notice)
