Does your DH go to any internal exams?
Just wondering. I have my 36 week appt tomorrow and would love for him to be there in case there's any progression, but not sure if it's appropriate. Also, what can I expect during the internal and strep test?

My DH has been there for my internals...just stays by my head as opposed to being down there by the dr.

My DH went to my last one. He was sitting across from me, by my feet and nearly fell over when the doc did her thing. Apparently he didn't really understand the concept of "internal"

DH is going to come b/c we have a sono too. Its up to him if he wants to come in the room, but they have a little bench with a curtain, so he would be sitting behind the curtain during the internal anyway. Our DD is coming tomorrow, so they will probably just wait in the waiting room....

I had 6 internals when I was in the hospital in labor (I never progressed beyond 1 cm despite 10 hours of pitocin and contractions 3 minutes apart). The doctor gave me internals to try and 'get things going' but because I wasnt dilated, it hurt like nothing I've ever felt. DH had to help the doctor keep my legs secure. He said watching the internals was harder than watching the c-section.

Yes, he came to the first.
My doctor set everything up already and turned out the lights so DH wouldn't be freaked out......
