Does your DH/SO make a huge deal out of Christmas shopping?
We sent out our secret santa lists and I wanted a pair of boots, but also another pair from DH (I love shoes!)
So DH tells me the other day that my secret santa can't get my boots, or HIS boots for me!!! Ummm, why are you telling me this? So I go online and find them myself and I asked DH if I should just buy them right now.
He says "wel, I guess nothing's ever a surprise for you." Ummmm, didn't you just tell ME about your problem?
Why can't guys just firgure it out themselves? I got all my gifts without having to ask each person what they wanted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahhh, but did you have to do it for yourself?????? That's the problem with mine......
we tend to just take each other shopping. dh doesnt really "get" the whole surprise factor thing 
it took my dad over 20 years to finally "get it" too, so i wouldn't really hold me breath

yes, and yes.
I have to get the gifts for his TAs, all of his family, and of course, ME. No surprises, and I hate it!
