Does your dog do this?
I've had many dogs but my current dog is the only one who does this. He has a bed in the livingroom and in our bedroom. At about 9 pm every night he disappears and goes into our bedroom to go to sleep for the rest of the night. It's like his self imposed bed time. I think it's cute but strange.

 No they don't do this on their own. But if we're all in the living room and I get up, turn off the tv and light, they get up and start heading to the bedroom with us. I think it's so cute.

Toby used to do this. We would go looking for him & he would be all curled up in his bed. I still miss that little dog.

My dog does this! Around 9 he will walk over to us and stare. That is his hint that he is ready.for bed. If we don't get up he will just.go into the.bedroom by himself. It's actually very cute

Mine does but only sometimes. Once we had a big party for DH's 30th and at 9ish we couldn't find the dog.....he was upstairs sleeping. It was cute! He was partied out so he went to bed!

Ozzie goes to bed when we go to bed, but my childhood dog did this when he got older. He used to sleep in my room with me and as we both got older I would stay up later and he would head on up and curl up for bed time.

 That's too cute! But nope, my dogs couldn't go into the bedroom if they wanted since we keep the door shut. But after about 9:30 each night, anytime I get up to get a drink of water or use the bathroom or whatever, Irwin leaps to his feet and races to the bedroom door thinking it's time for bed. And all you have to say to him is "Do you want to go to bed?" and he jets to the bedroom door. Too cute!

Both of mine will do this... but not before sitting in the door way looking at us to see if we're going to join them...
if we don't, they'll put them selves to bed.

Just wanted to say, since responding to this Ozzie has put himself to bed 3 times Once he just went in and laid down on his own, and twice he did it while I was in the bedroom getting ready for bed, all without me saying a word.
