Does your toddler repeat themselves?
If DS gets excited about something he will repeat himself 1,000 times 
For ex. He loves Nascar and my dad buys him the Nascar cars. His favorite is the M&M car. The other day they were watching the race on TV and he said over and over again "that's the M&M car."
Or now that the baby is home, he will point to the baby and tell everyone "that's baby Derek" over and over again
It's cute but after awhile I want to scream

Unless I respond to him - yes. It's like I have to constantly respond to his questions or acknowledge what he is saying or he will keep saying it until I do. For ex. "Mommy - I see a fire truck" - no response - MOMMY MOMMY - MOMMY - a fire truck a fire truck - Yes honey I see the fire truck - then he stops  It drives me crazy b/c he does this even if I am on the phone, having a conversation with someone, driving etc. and his voice will get progressively louder until I respond!

all....day...long. but once I respond to her and talk about whatever it is she is saying..she stops. until the next repeative sentence starts.

Eddie does until you repeat it back to him. Not just going yes honey it is. I have to say "yes, thats the M&M car" and then he stops.

YES....this is how it is with us too.

I have to crash because my family is REALLY into Nascar and when my parents went down for the last race they got DD a Kyle Bush fleece blanket, since he drives the M&M car and she LOVES M&Ms....well, she's OBSESSED with the blanket, the car, Kyle Bush etc...HAS to sleep with it. When the races are on, sure enough..."There's Kyle Boosh!!" (she says it so cute)
