Re: Dog escapes from Hauppauge Animal Hospital

I saw this in Newsday today but didn't have time to read the article before I left for work.
I saw a screen shot of the video survellance camera of the dog opening the door to escape! Chat Icon
He was probably like- "screw this I'm outta here!" Chat Icon

Thank goodness he is safe!

I guess he just wanted to go to the dog park! Chat Icon

Thank God they were able to find him. Usually when you board your dog or leave him at the vet for whatever reason you take his collar (with tags) home.

Re: Dog escapes from Hauppauge Animal Hospital

Holy crap! That's my old vet office. I just switched a month ago.

That's amazing, that the dog was able to open both doors! If it was a lever, I could understand how he did it, but it looks like a regular doorknob. I'm surprised they leave their back door unlocked like that, or that dogs can roam around the building.

I'm so glad the dog is ok! That's a far walk to Blydenburgh, across 347! Chat Icon

Re: Dog escapes from Hauppauge Animal Hospital

I am so glad they found him

I went to the dry cleaner the other day and there was a sign in the window

I still don't get why the door wasn't locked or how he managed to get out of the cage, the door and the gate

smart dog...almost too smart
