Re: dog not eating
when my dog doesn't eat for a few days we put a little water in her food, not too much, just enough to wet it and it seems to appeal to her a little more.

Re: dog not eating
maybe she does not like her food anymore. Try mixing a little wet food or water in with it and see if she'll eat it, If not, you may want to try a different kind of food. Sandy did this and we wound up switching her food

Re: dog not eating
Just the food or treats too?? I would try some peanut butter on a spoon. If the dog still seems uninterested then I would make a vet appt. 3 days of NO food is not good.......

I agree, if she seems happy and eats a treat - it may be just that she doesn't like her food. If she won't eat a treat, take her to a vet asap.

Re: dog not eating
Denver did this once in awhile as a puppy. If it continues for more than 2 days, I would call your vet.

Please call the dog's vet. This shouldn't be ignored.

Re: dog not eating
What kind of dog? I have a huskey who will go a few days at a time...and then just go back to normal...been that way for years esspecially in the summer The doberman on the other hand never misses a meal and if he went days I would worry.
a good trick...sprinkle a little grated cheese on top

Re: dog not eating
One of my Dogs also could care less about dog food at times. Try adding 1/4 can of wet food and mix it in. Don't feed treats for a while until he eats his food. If he doesn't eat take him to the vet

Re: dog not eating
Casey and Tally are such HUGE piggies that if they wouldn't eat I would call the vet- but that's just them- they are shameless beggers and food theives and they actually whine next to their bowls when it is near dinnertime.
