Dog Park in Middle Island
Does anyone know where this park is located? DH and I live in Middle Island and we tried to find it but there are no signs posted anywhere. The website says it is just east of the old Kmart, but we still can't find it. Anyone know?

It hasn't opened yet...It is supposed to be opening soon.
From what I understand, it's across the street from the old K-Mart.

Across the street from the dog park is the lake and an apartment building. I guess we will just have to look for it when it opens. But, for some reason, I thought it was open already. Maybe I am wrong.

It is located on Route 25, Middle Island, west of Woodville Rd and directly next door to the old Kmart- it is the 9 acre site in between those 2 points.
To my knowledge, they haven't commenced work on it yet- but the validation dates on the membership state Dec 1- so I am assuming that should be the opening day, but it could be earlier- I am waiting for confirmation from Connie Kepert-
