Dog who wants to eat all the time!!
Our dog Toby wants to eat ALL the time. From the second we get up until the second we go to bed all he does is beg for food. Its really started to work my last nerve. He is not hungry! He gets more than the rec amt of food for a dog his size and weight. If we dont respond to him he sits and moans at us. I dont know what to do with him. Does anyone's dog do this?

Re: Dog who wants to eat all the time!!
My dog always scarfs down her whole bow (2 times per day)l, then looks at me like she wants more.. but not to the same extreme as your dog.. and I just reduced her food because my vet said I was giving her too much (though I don't think I was).
My vet told me to reduce her food but give her canned string beans as empty calories to help her lose weight, but still fill her up, so maybe you could give some to your dog in addition to food to fill him up?

Yep. Same here. He gobbles his food in a minute (literally) and then walks over to the food bag for more. Then he sits while we eat hoping to get food. Everytime he hears the fridge or something resembling a food wrapper he comes running. He is just a glutton!

Re: Dog who wants to eat all the time!!
We have the same issue here. My dog's breed is known for it but they also have to stay slim so that their backs don't give out. It sounds like you are already doing this, but do not give him any food from your plate when you are at the table. Keep people food limited. Also, try to make sure that any guests in your home do not give the dog food. Try to keep meal times the same every day. We feed our dog twice a day. He starts begging about 1/2 hour before meal time. I could probably set my clocks by that! He has calmed down a lot because we aren't very responsive to begging but that took a long time. Is your dog young?
