Doggies at the Parks or Beaches
Anyone know if I can take my dog to point look out beach,The Montauk Light House or the Robert Moses State Park? Looking for a place to go this weeked. Any other suggestions? I know he can go to Bear Mountain, but looking for somewhere more local. TIA

i could be wrong but i don't think it is "legal" to have dogs at any LI public beach. there are a limited # of desgnated dog parks but if they aren't fenced, the dog is "supposed" to be leashed.

Hecksher allows pets in parts. We go hiking through the trails. They love it cuz you get some squirrels and stuff running around to chase.

I know my parents go camping at Nickerson Beach and they have a dog run.
