Doggy Daycare ?
Does anyone send their dogs to a doggy daycare during the week ???
I'd appreciate any recommendations ! TIA
I'm interested in either sending her for either one full day or maybe 2 half days.

Our choc lab Maddie has been going to doggie daycare at Petsmart in Huntington three days a week since she was a puppy (she's four now).
It started because we both work and while DH works from hom often, when she was young, the days he was working out of the house were longer than we wanted to leave her crated.
She LOVES it and is like the superstar/"Mayor" there! It's $25 a day but we often get coupons for $3 off and free days ...

Thanks ! My only concern is they don't walk them but just let them "go" in a room. Has that ever been a problem for you at home ??

It was never a problem at home but she was trained pretty quickly (I almost can't recall her having any accidents even in the beginning - I do remember being surprised by that!).

best in show pet resort in mineola is awesome. My dog loves going there. Also, the Barrie Inn in Woodmere

The Barrie Inn is Fido Fitness I believe, we send Ozzie there one day a week and we love it. They really worked on his socialization with him and it tires him out sooo much! I think they let them 'go' in the room but Ozzie has never, ever had an accident in our or any other house, so it doesn't worry me.
