I do this all the time. For some reason, me and doorknobs aren't friends. DH laughs at me and asks me what I do to them to get them to attack me.
I dont know why.. I dont grab them tightly, I twirl them, and I tape them off to protect them when I am painting, so what's their beef??

We have lever doorknobs. I can't tell you how many times I get my pocket caught on them or a sleeve and fling myself back into the door!

Doorknobs, just one of those things no matter how long they've been there (in most cases years) they get in the way....EVERY TIME!!!
In my house it would transpire as me yelling "Ooooooowwww"
DH ::mutes tv:: "you ok" ::pauses:: ::unmutes tv and carries on with his business::
The lack of a response would mean nothing to him. Wouldn't send a signal to check...nothing.
