Doing Little Girls hair?
At what age did you start using rubber bands in their hair? And when did they leave them in and alone?
My DD is almost 22 months old and still pulls them out, i have the small ones and i'm so worried she'll eat them or try to feed it to her almost 8 month old sister.
Thanks!

AS soon as their hair was long enough. LOL Do you have the plastic small ones? They are hard for them to take out

around 16-17 months (when she got enough hair). She's better at leaving in rubber bands than clips, but she'll pull at anything once she realizes its in there. She's never tried to eat them, but she does play with them on her fingers.

Re: Doing Little Girls hair?
My DD is going to be 4 in April and hates when I put stuff in her hair. She pulls it out and says leave it down. She has curls so I dont mind but it drives me crazy.

Small plastic clips? Where did you get them?
I have tons of bows, no slippy hair clippys, and small no tangle elastic bands. All of them she rips out
I blame my DH, since she could sit up on her own, he always put stuff on her head to play , and she would rip it off
She has fine thin hair it goes a little past her shoulders. For the 30 seconds she has it up or pulled back she looks so adorable!! I love it not in her face!
Thank you

Re: Doing Little Girls hair?
Probably at like 15 or 16 mos I started doing headbands b/c I couldnt' do the rubberbands then maybe 18 mos we were doing rubberbands and she'd leave them alone for like 4 hours at a stretch then notice them and pull them out then at about 20 mos she started pulling them out all the time as soon as I'd put them in and wouldn't keep headbands on at all so I cut bangs fixed our problem

Re: Doing Little Girls hair?
My DD is finally leaving the hair barrets in, but she does rip them out at times, and out with them comes a handful of her hair
I don't use rubberbands just yet, her hair is so fine and she doesn't have a ton yet. I use the good old fashioned Goody clips in assorted colors... I buy them in Target.

Re: Doing Little Girls hair?
I started using them when she was about a year old... as soon as her hair was long enough! She's never been bothered by them at all.
