Doing online holiday shopping, important question about doll stroller/set

Background: I'm sure all know about the Maclaren recall not long ago, the fix on the strollers was a zip pouch over the hinges to prevent possible finger amputation on the "real" models.

Question: I have to ask this and hope it's not a dumb question... someone has to know..

My DD was thumbing through my One Step Ahead catalog and fell in love with the Maclaren Jr. Quest Activity Set. Complete with Maclaren doll stroller. I was set to buy it, but noticed on a web site the Quest Jr was recalled back in the day. Now this catalog just came in the mail yesterday... I do not see the zip pouches on the picture in the catalog. I'm not 100% sure it even collapses, but I do see the foot "pedal" that my grown up version has that releases the bars for collapsing. I love the set, it's so realistic and she wants a doll to go with it, but not at the cost of one of her digits. Does anyone know if I can make a phone call or a reliable web site that can offer info on this specific item? The item itself has great reviews on various sites. Thoughts or alternate recommendations much welcomed

TIA...

I would call one step ahead. Your question seems reasonable to me.

OMG... thank you for posting that... b/c I was going to get Carlie the Stoller set for Chirstmas and I would never have even thought that it could have possibly been effected during the recall...

Good call!

Re: Doing online holiday shopping, important question about doll stroller/set

Thank you. I'm glad it didn't seem odd, but when I saw that little "pedal" on the back when I enlarged the photo, it got me thinking. I mean, maybe it's a fake pedal and does nothing. I just don't want her to fall further in love with it and find out I have to take it away.

I called and they will have someone get back to me with more info.

If anyone has some good doll set recommendations in the same price range (around $75), I'd love other ideas as back up in case this doesn't work out.

I tried to enter a link but it didn't work, I'll try to upload a photo.
