Donating Furniture
My mom passed away recently and we are looking for places to donate her furniture. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. TIA

So sorry for the loss of your mom.
I had the hardest time trying to find an organization that could come and pick up furniture pretty quickly. Someone recommended Coram Swap Shop. They only take all wooden furniture and pick it up. They actually buy it from you, but that was not my primary concern. They were pretty quick and picked up a dining room table and chairs, coffee table, and end tables. I don't even remember how much they gave me in return... I was just happy someone came and picked it up from the house.
