Dont even know where to begin..Need some recommendations please UPDATE
Yesterday I started noticing a large amount of mucus discharge. Happened about 5 times. Then this morning I had some more. At 32 weeks this isnt all that unusual for me so I called my doctor for him to check to see if I was starting to efface...I go to the doctor and he is pretty sure that there is something going on and that Im starting to efface or in the least bit my cervix is softening..(typical for me at this stage of the game)..we did an in office cervical sonogram and my cervix looks OK but due to the amount of mucus there is definitely some change..
I was suppose to deliver at Huntington Hospital and my doctor is out of Huntington.My doctor is having issues within his office its rather a long story and one that I dont feel like getting into b/c he is a wonderful man and a great doctor...anyway he has to send his OB patients to other doctors ..So he makes a ton of phone calls for me and is told by ALL OF THEM that they dont want me and that I need to go to see a high risk doctor who delivers at North Shore. Well this isnt going to work for me b/c I WILL NEVER MAKE IT from my home in Nesconset to North Shore should I go into Labor so I decide to find a doctor closer to my home....
This leaves me with St Catherines, St Charles, & StonyBrook. I dont want to deliver at St Catherines or St Charles b/c I want to tie my tubes and they wont do it there...so that leaves me to find a doctor who will deliver me at Stony Brook and is preferably HIGH RISK...
Can someone please point me in the right direction?????
Anyone who knows who my doctor is and would like to know what is going on in the office please FM me and I'll explain....

THANK YOU everyone..with special thanks to DANCINBAREFOOT...I had an appointment today and they are very nice..thank you sooooo much!

Can he refer you to another Dr. in Huntington? What about LIJ in Syosset (only another 15 min fom Huntington)?

Aw Heather!!!
I don't have anyone to recommend, but I've had sugery at Stony Brook, as have many of my family members and it is a fantastic hospital.
