Don't hate on me for this - or my bragging
Catchy subject line, eh?
My DH just took the kids for their annual camping trip with his firehouse. 4 days all by myself to do whatever I want or to not do whatever I dont want to do.
Bliss bliss bliss.....
It's my Mother's Day gift every year (seriously!) and it does wonders to recharge the batteries. He would probably be going to my SIL's house as well but he is getting promoted and the ceremony is on Wednesday. It's all good though. 4 days is awesome, not too short, not too long.
What to do...what not to do...
Have I mentioned that I think my DH is the best!!??!!?!?!??!?!

I'm hating you right about now... as I head of to run errands and try and find a dress for my DD with both of them! Arrgghhh..
But seriously, ENJOY your time! Do things for yourself, and relax!

So what have you done Liz??
Slept late (9:30), hit a few garage sales, ate dinner with a friend, putzed around the house, working on a tooth fairy pillow for the princess (per her specifications of course), stained an area of my back steps that we replaced, got the paint store to match my wall color and am touching up a few spots, watched something on TV that made me miss my kids, found a few songs on my Ipod that I didn't know the hubby put on for me (because I was able to listen to my Ipod out loud at 11:30 at night!), washing the kids' quilts & shams, cut my wisteria bush back....I forget what else but this is the kind of stuff I do when they go away. I am not a lay around and read a book kind of person. I wish I could be but I'm not. I am going for a pedicure tomorrow though :)
