Dorney Park?
Can anyone give me any info on Dorney PArk? What hotel is close by and reasonable? TIA Is it worth it for 6 & 7 year olds

IMO, Hershey is way better! So much more fun!!!
Dorney is always so crowded, lines are long, park is dirty compared to Hershey, and the employees don't really moniter the kids like they do at Hershey, so while your kids may be well-behaved, the banchees on line behind you may not.

I used to go all the time as a kid. We never got a hotel nearby b/c I have family close to the park. I LOVE Dorney and can't wait to go back there. And yes it is appropriate for 6-7 year olds. Have fun!!!!

I've been to both, and I happen to like both of them a lot! I do think that Hershey has a little more diversity in terms of things to do.
