Double bookcase?
Looking for a nice double bookcase with some cabinets. Trying to get rid of a lot of the boys toys and have a place in the great room to hide the games and puzzles and an area to display photos, books, etc Something reasonable. I'm in nj so the places on LI are a bit far to travel to, but a good site to look online.
Thanks!

Double bookcase?
I looked FOREVER and ALL over the internet for something like this. I fell in love with the Logan Bookcase from Pottery Barn but at over $2k they were way more than I wanted to spend.

I ended up going with the Ikea Hemnes Cabinets... Shown below but I only got the two cabinets on the ends. They were the most reasonably priced for the look I wanted.

I have the Hemnes wide bookshelves too- bought them in 2005 and they still look great. I love them.

Re: Double bookcase?
Thanks all! Loved the Pottery Barn, but way too expensive. Especially since we plan to redo the Great Room in a few years when all the toys go to the basement.
I'll check out the idea one.

No problem! I'd be curious to see if you find anything comparable... I really looked far and wide for these... and I needed them basically for the same reason you do. I also considered these from Sauder... I wasn't crazy about the look of them, but they got great reviews on every website I saw them on.

edited to fix link...
Good luck!

Re: Double bookcase?
That's nice, but may be small for what I need. Ugh... Can't wait till all the toys go down to the basement. LOL
