double stroller suggestions
I have a 15 month old DS and a 2 month old DD and I really need to buy a double stroller. I really want something that is not that heavy. I was thinking about getting a Maclaren because it is not as heavy as other strollers, but it is side by side. It may be very difficult to shop with a side by side stroller
Does anyone have any suggestions?
TIA

Re: double stroller suggestions
I had the MacLaren Twin traveller when my boys were little. DS#2 was born when DS#1 was 19 months old.
The ONLY complaint I have is that there is no trays on it. No childrens trays, and no adult trays.
If you want a side-by-side, I suggest the Peg Perego one. Otherwise, I now use my Graco Duo-Glider for my 3 year old and 1 year old. LOVE it!

Re: double stroller suggestions
I was totally against the side by side, but ending up getting the Peg Perego Aria, and I really like it....its really light, its easy to open and close, and I have not had problems getting through doorways (except having to open the door myself, but that was hard with a single stroller).

Re: double stroller suggestions
I don't need a double stroller yet But if I did I would look into the Baby City Jogger Mini Double...it's lightweight and extremely easy to maneuver and fold. Another one would be the Mountain Buggy Urban Double or the Mac Twin.

Re: double stroller suggestions
I have 3 side by side strollers. I have the Baby jogger, the twin techno, and the aria.
Baby jogger- feels like you are pushing nothing at all! Easy to fold and being that I live in the city, great wheels! However, even though it is easy to fold, it is heavy to lift and takes up a lot of room in the trunk.
Techno- easy to fold and lift. Fits through all doorways. However, I do have bigger twins and now, it is pretty heavy to push! It is also narrow and my kids look so huge in it!
Aria- HATE IT!!!!!!! Although it is easy to fold and is light weight, I find that it steers like crap! It often gets stuck and I feel like I am going to snap one of the legs off. The main problem is that there are only two sets of wheels, not three like other doubles.
Good Luck!
