doubling children in cribs?
Hi everyone,
Anyone getting a crib for each child or doubling up children? I have two cribs but am reading this excellent book on twins and read they like sleeping with each other... any thoughts?

Re: doubling children in cribs?
We got 2 cribs for the nursery, but plan on keeping them together in the beginning. We plan on using a sleep positioner so that they don't roll onto one another at night.

Re: doubling children in cribs?
I have 2 cribs but i keep my girls in one crib..they love it! I don't have the heart to seperate them yet. So until they start kicking and beating eachother up..I want them to bond in one crib.

Re: doubling children in cribs?
Im just afraid of the transistion of separating them for later on, I guess that is why I want to separate them from the start

Re: doubling children in cribs?
when my girls were in the NICU most of the twins were in the same crib...they encouraged it. i guess its personal preference. i know other twin moms that had them in one crib and then seperated them and it was fine.

We bought two cribs but were waiting until they were bron to decide what to do. Since they were in two seperate NICU rooms and one came home 3 weeks before the other, they were never together so they started in seperate cribs.

We are planning (I know very early but everything I read...) to put them both in the same crib for a while and then separate them later.
