Doulas in Training
Hi ladies!
I must admit that I do not log on often and I apologize for that but I was wondering if you ladies could help me. I am interested in finding a doula in training to assist me with my birth. Typically I would pay for it out-of-pocket but I was recently placed on strict bedrest at 27weeks and had to hire a nanny to care for my 2 yr. old twins unexpectedly. So needless to say money is a little tight and I don't want to burden my husband with another expense. Any leads you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Check the Stony Brook website:
Stonybrook
and click onto programs. There are a bunch of doulas on there. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply. That is the best info I have found on doulas in LI thus far. Much easier to find them in NYC for some reason.
