Down Goose Comforter??
Hi,
Well i was browsing in LNT today, just minding my own business when a Down Goose Comforter jumped out and bit me! :)
No, seriously. I was browsing and LNT had 50% off, plus I had a competitors BBB coupon.. I got a 350 Thread Count, 600 Fill Down Goose Comforter. Regularly,$200.00 for $80. :)
Now, I don't know what to do with it..?? Besides, dying to get into bed with DH. :) I can't believe I have that on my bed and I am still up. Ok, my questions.
1. Is this a decent quality down comforter?? I know they can go upwards in price in the thousands.. I know my measly $200 wasn't a lot. But, is it decent, I hope??
2. Do I get a duvet cover or just leave it showing?? DH and I have had our bedding set for over 3 years now and it is starting to show its age. I guess the oils from our bodies. It just looks very dingy. So I need to get new sheets, etc anyway.. Obviously, I won't be buying a Bed in a Bag now. What should I do? Just get separate sheets, [pillowcases, shams, bedskirt, etc. Won't all of that really add up? And should I get a duvet cover??
Also, where should I go in search of all this??? Macys, JC Pennys?? I have been looking and I cant find anything I like. I love a Victorian Look. Our bedroom is Sage walls... Very floral looking.. Any one see anything out there??

Re: Down Goose Comforter??
Definitely get a duvet cover. You can throw it in the wash like you do with sheets.
As far as where, I have gotten mine from Pottery Barn. I know the Pottery Barn Outlet has some nice things by the different subsidiaries of Williams-Sonoma, Inc. Some nice things.
On the inexpensive side, I know that Ikea has duvet sets that have duvet covers and shams. You can also check Homegoods
