downloading music to an ipod-question
how do you do it?Can you download directly to the ipod or do you have to save it to your computer first?
Where do you download the songs from, and do you have to pay?

You download to your computer & then move to your iPod.
I download my songs from iTunes mainly or I upload (or rip) songs from my CD collection. iTune is 99 cents a song.
eta. Also I may have taken someone else's iPod & uploaded their music. But that would have been a copyright infringement so I can't really recall if I did that or not.

download to your computer first so if you loose your ipod or the songs get erased somehow you will still have them.
