Dozer died today
My brothers dog died today. He made it through his operation yesterday fine, the vet called and said he was breatnig on his own last night. today they were going to try to get him to eat.
Then they called today at like 3:45 and said Dozer died-heart attack.
He was barely even 3 years old.
Such a shock. I will miss him so much-he was the most loving and loyal dog

Yes, he is a Bull Mastiff
he was misdiagnosed with colitis a few mos ago(he was straining to go the the bathrrom and it was bloody stool-but they took no x rays and did not test the stool...)when they took him to a different vet for another opinion last Saturday and found out there was a mass the size of an orange in his anal track..
So they scheduled a surgery for the 24th. On tuesday, this mass started coming out, so they took him to an emergency vet hospital. The surgeon was not in til Thursday....the surgeon did the operation..had to open him up b/c they thought they saw something by a sonogram on his stomach, turns ot it was enlarged lymph nodes, possibly because of this other"mass" but they said they would test them.
He was breathing on his own thursday night, and on Friday he was awake, and they were going to try to give him food.
Friday afternoon they called and said that Dozer had a heart attack, and they couldn't save him. 
He was not even 3 years old yet.
