Dr. 90210... "she wants that fake look"
I have no PROBLEM AT ALL with plastic surgery. With that said Im watching Dr. 90210 and he's doing breast implants on this girl who said she wants them to look fake. WHY? I don't get the HUGE Big Fake boobs The HUGE Fake lips. Clearly so fake that when people look at you they are almost laughing at you cause they are so fake looking.

Her wanting to look fake, definitely. Not you, I swear
I didn't see that episode, but I agree. I'm not against plastic surgery or those who get it, but WANTING to look fake gets lots of these

I don't really get it either but I don't even get the obsession with big boobs. To each their own, though. I know there are people who don't agree with my "beauty" decisions.

Re: Dr. 90210... "she wants that fake look"
the problem is that the women, at least the ones i've spoken to, who want to look like that THINK THAT LOOKS GOOD. they don't think that people are looking and laughing at them as they walk down the street -- they think they are getting good attention and that people are pointing because they think it looks hot and they are jealous.
i think the problem lies in perception. i am *ALL* for plastic surgery - i am one of the biggest supporters - i think that if people want to improve their self imagine IN A HEALTHY way then absolutely do it but it has to be reasonable and with reasonable intent -- some women think that looking that way is sexy but usually they are attracting all the wrong attention -- or just negative attention in general.
that's just what i've experienced though - i guess it can be said that there are exceptions to every situation although, in this case, i've never seen one.
i personally think surgeons need to take more responsibility when dealing with clients - they reserve the right to say that they feel people are going too far. yes, they may just go down the road and have it done by someone else but a surgeon my friend used will *NOT* operate on someone who he feels is going over the top -- and he doesn't care who she goes to -- it won't be him and he puts his foot down when it comes to doing, in his opinion, the right thing. i agree with that, JMHO.
