2 follies growing. after 3 full days of meds, mon night lupron and fri am meds I only have two good ones growing. One is 19 mm- too big right now. 2 are 12 and 13 mm and one less then 10.

I am on the highest stims I think possible and my poor one ovary can only produce these. I'm sure if I had my other ovary I could get a few more but..

I feel broken, I'm cranky, snippy, and wanna kill the upcoming snow storm that is coming!!!!!

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

You all are the only thing that keeps me going.....

Slow and steady wins the race. You just started the meds. It takes time.

Also you really need quality over quantity. Hang in there.

You have not been stimming that long yet. I usually had no measurable follicles at my first appointment and wound up with like 20 - you still have a lot of stimming. Good Luck!!

Re: dr am - frustrated

See if they can start you on the ganirelix to slow down the 19mm bc dominant follicles tend to absorb the meds and make it difficult for more follies.

I will not be on ganirelex. I'm on lupron to suppress right now. I'm on max Stims right now and only have 2 good ones. I'm not sure how many days I'll be on max Stims. They are growing quickly bc of my high dose. I'm back to dr in am in city and he upped my menopur to 4 vials in pm and am. Just frustrated. ;(

Holy crap! 8!
I trust he knows what he's doing. RMA is awesome. How are you feeling from the Lupron? I should be starting that next week.

I don't know- with microflare cycle you are not stimming as long as a regular IVF cycle. I do trust that the dr knows what he is doing but I'm afraid with all this max stimming it's still gonna be a bust.

Yes Lillies I'm on follistim 150, lupron 20 c and 4 vials of menopur this evening and in am.

I am very happy with them so far. They are thorough and precise. I'm eh on lupron. Very irritable and emotional but I was last time on all those stim meds also.

Just got from dr - they are so quick there!!!!

have 4- that big one will not count though so 3... Better than 2. I've never gone to 5 day transfer so if 3 fertilize I have a better chance than with just 2.
Have to stay in city because I've been being monitored every day since wed. City only does the wknd appts and Garden city office will close with snow- they tell their patients they have to go into city for monitoring. To play it safe I'm here all weekend. Not taking any chances on missing a appt and ruining this cycle... Crossing fingers and toes!!!

I totally know what you mean. At my first appt I had 4 follies and I was devastated. I actually respond better just to clomid. In the end, I got 6 eggs, 5 matured, 3 fertilized and 2 made it to day 5. I froze those 2 bc I am batching to do PGD testing. But out of only a few follies I got 2 embryos. So quality is really what matters.

That's what I'm worried with. This practice goes to day 5 and I want a few so at least they would weed out bad ones and hopefully get one or two great embryos. My old practice only did day 3 so we don't know how good those embryos were. I did same amount on femara than not. I'm not on femara now just lupron and follistim-menopur. So Stims they find hidden follicles in retrieval so maybe with my luck that will happen.

Each time I had a sono there were a couple more. By the last sono there was about 12 but many were small. I am sure you will have more pop up either at sonos or during retrieval. Last time I was on the bfp to start but my dr said he wouldn't do that this time around. Instead, he will start me with clomid and then add the follistim and menopur. Hoping for a bunch bc the PGD will test 8 embryos for one price. While I am happy with the 2, I don't want to be batching for 4 months :(
